Right around Thankgiving of 2001, I ran into Dan
and Dick. We conversed for a few and I mentioned pictures of the band at Anderson
Junior High School. After exchanging e-mails, I started to scan and clean up
a bunch of pictures. This of course got me to thinking about the Moonman costume,
the AAA070, and that we should all get together and have another. As luck would
have it, my Dad had the picture.
Yep, that was me and you know, I wasn't em-bare
assed at all, well yes I was, but no I wasn't. I remember that Mitchell was
Paper Boy, Dick is the Caveman, but who was the Princess? Go to The
Event page to find out. Looks like Brian was just happy to be there.
Now I'm really motivated to organize this party.
I propose that in August of 2004, all persons attending the AAA070, all persons
who wanted to attend, all persons who should have attended, and all the
families of those persons, get together for a three day, 35-year reunion party AAA005.
I am investigating reserving a resort for the weekend, someplace with cabins
or rooms, that has things for wives and kids to do while we Sailo. In the interest
of the same, this web site is being posted to share pictures, recordings and
a mechanisim for connecting to all of those who should. If you are reading this
and know of some Astigafer, have any pictures or any recordings of the band
or members, please contact me as I would like to assemble everything on CD's
for all to share.
