020802: Bill Joseph registers site name and work begins.
021502: Al creates and posts first pages.
022502: Added some photos, heard from Neil. Doug? Joe? Steve?
Have some audio will load fun stuff. Need to hear from composers if it will
be ok to post songs.
040702: Added "OP" and "Our Name in Lights"
pages. Added some audio, Wadya say guys, can I put up some of the original stuff?
Found a couple of additional artifacts, will scan them in sometime. Heard from
several Berkleyites who remember.
052602: Added "Assorted" page. Modified "Our Name
in Lights" page with a couple of new items and new text. Where the heck
are you Steve and Joe? Doug? If you have emailed me before and never heard back,
try again, I had some trouble with the server but should have it straight now.
071202: Fixed some misdirected images. Why didn't anyone tell
me? Think I may have found Steve, too busy right now to follow up on, if your
out there Steve, let me know. Have a lead on Joe, you too dude. Doug? No one
knows.
083102: Added some stuff to the Assorted page. Started the Leftover
page. Will add more in the next few days. Saw Gary and Mike O. play in the Aaron
Vaughn Band at the Berkley Cruise Fest. They had the crowd jumping. If you are
in the area and would like to know when and where they play, drop me a line
and I will forward it to Gary. Any others? Still haven't heard from several.
Still working, though not very hard at this point, on the reunion. Heard from
a couple more Berkley folk who Googled.
110502: Added Statefair/Fanmail page. Leftover page complete.
Will take all of these notes and make a new page with them soon. Joe B. got
in touch with me after I took a long shot and sent an Email to who I hoped was
his brother at his business in Florida. Thanks Pete. Sam typed me also. Getting
quite a crowd. Only a couple left to find, Steve and Doug. This site is the
top site on several search engines for the word ASTIGAFA. Thanks to all who
see it.
122802: Added a couple of links. Created the History of Site
page. Saw the Aaron Vaughn Band last night at the American Legion Hall in Berkley.
As always, they kicked it. It was the night of rotating drummers with Robert
Crenshaw, Joe Resnick, and Dick Coulson all sitting in for a couple of numbers.
Mike got a break. Talked to lots of "old" friends. Nice to see Scott,
Forrest, Pauline, Sal and son, Dan, Dick, Robert, Joe, Gary, Will and Shelly,
Sheryl, and a few others who shall remain nameless on account of I don't remember
their names... I do appreciate all the support for the site and all the kind
words. Threatened Mike with great bodily harm if he doesn't come through with
the 8mm film. Mike, of course, oppted for the great bodily harm.
32603: Found a bunch of slides that I took at Pampa. Tried to
get my scanner to work on them. Finally just projected them on a wall and took
pictures of them. Cleaned them up and created the Pampa Page. Finished this
page and finally posted it on the site. Have threatened Oby a couple of time
about the movies all to no avail. One of these days I'll mean it. Still trying
to make the arrangements for a half track machine so I can continuing working
on the music, cleaning it up, re-eqing, getting titles, authors, and dates together,
thanks in advance to Gary, Dick and Dave for your help. Of course getting more
time would help, but......
121703: Had a summer of computer problems, programs not working,
and files corrupt. Finally replaced the processor and MB with a leftover from my kids. Used to be me handing down to them, now the reverse is true. Couldn’t
find my code for the web software and then….Hard Drive Failure! Big time.
Luckily almost everything was backed up less than two weeks before. Back up
and….scans complete, including many photos from Doreen. Working on cleaning
them, sizing and making thumbs. Lots of pictures. Heard from Steve, the only
lost 'fer is Doug Freeman, where the heck are you ? Anybody have any leads?
10304: Kites pages done and uploaded, Basement recording and
Bunny Lake too. Almost all picture are uploaded, now I have to do the pages.
At least two more on the way. Started the reunion planning in earnest, good
response so far. Saw Zip for the first time in 30 some odd years, then saw him
again two nights later at the AVB New Years Show. Those guys rock, but they
still can't put me out of breath from dancing, a bit of heavy breathing but
then they play some sappy slow number. But go see them. Using my sons computer
to create these pages since the software is still not on mine. Go to my son’s
website
and you can see why I can use his. I am so jealous. Leave him a comment. Dang,
I just realized it has been a year and a half since Dad and I started this.
Thanks to everyone who has sent more pictures. Anyone else have any?
