The Great Get High Kite Fly
So one day, as time was flowing by, we got this idea that it
would be fun to fly some kites. And not only would it be fun to fly some kites
but that we should build a great modified box kite of our own, making it of
such immense size that it could lift a small dog or child with the right wind.
And so we did.........
And
we tried. But if memory serves, while the small dog trembled and the child cried,
the immense kite was never a threat to
their safety.
But defeat us! Never
Kites
would fly, or we'd know the reason why!
Ok, so maybe I'm
wrong about the threat to the small dog, but it sounded good.

Yes, several kites were flown, as were
the fliers.

A massing of kites, never to be equaled,
well, not really. I still love to fly them and like to take a dozen cheap kites
to the park and hand them off to little kids (as opposed to this big one). The
look on their faces when you say "Here, can you fly this for awhile?"
is unbeatable.
